About

About Dr. Shaun Carey

Dr. Shaun Carey started his career in the Franklin Pierce Schools as a teacher at Ford Middle School. Within two years he was the Dean of Students at Ford. In 2001 he became principal at Elmhurst Elementary and remained in that position until 2012 when he accepted the position of Director of Human Resources. He is currently Deputy Superintendent. His wife, Tonya is a teacher at Brookdale Elementary. Upon leaving Elmhurst, the teachers that served with Shaun wanted to honor him with a scholarship.
