About

About the Multilingual Learner Program

Franklin Pierce School District is privileged to encompass a growing number of Multilingual Learners that walk our halls and bring a rich diversity to the classroom.

These students face challenges each day as they are learning English while grasping grade level academic concepts. This educational challenge is coupled with adapting to a new home and new culture. Many families have immigrated to our country seeking quality educational opportunities for their children as they share our belief of education as the key to a better life. Many of our students are first generation high school graduates.

The success and determination that a Multilingual Learner exhibits is an inspiration to staff and peers alike. The service they will contribute to the community is invaluable.
