Purpose | A Scholarship award is made to a graduating senior of the Franklin Pierce Schools who intends to pursue a career in teaching or other careers in the field of education. |

Award notes | Renewable with conditions. The recipient may receive up to $2,500.00 over four years. $1,000.00 will be awarded the first year. $500.00 will be available in each of the following three years as long as the recipient shows proof they are continuing in their pursuit of an education degree. |

Selection process | The Franklin Pierce, GATES, and Washington High Schools’ scholarship committees will each select a nominee for this scholarship and submit the name to the Foundation. Members of the Treleven family will then interview each of the nominees and select the recipient. The family will also select an alternate and the scholarship shall be awarded to that individual if the primary award winner does not meet the requirements of the scholarship. |
