Whanau Poly Club is one of the largest and most influential student clubs at Washington High School. Their Mission is to empower and engage Asian Pacific Islander youth within a western educational paradigm (public schools) through a cultural lens by using cultural dialogue and engagement strategies. The club continues to see the increasing number of students that attend every year, and would like to continue to provide that safe place and educational environment for them. To take the next step in helping their current and future students achieve goals, they have been given an opportunity create a scholarship with donations and funds provided by school staff members and friends.
